US Customers Only – HSPA Turndown Final Notification
Dear Valued Customer,
Keeping your communications with remote assets operating smoothly is of the utmost importance to your organization. Emerson's Zedi Cloud SCADA Solutions works with several telecommunication partners and as the telecommunication companies upgrade and improve their technology, Emerson and its customers must also upgrade to continue to communicate your asset data correctly.
As you may be aware, AT&T announced that their HSPA cellular network will be turned down effective February 2022 and is being replaced by LTE technology. The LTE network will provide higher data speeds, lower latency and improved reliability. To continue communicating to devices in the field your HSPA model will have to be upgraded to an LTE modem before the end of February 2022.
The worldwide chip shortage has resulted in limited LTE modem production, but Emerson has secured modems from its partners to ensure that our customers can purchase the required hardware. Scheduled installations will be done as quickly as possible, and will be queued on a first call, first serve basis.
Your business success is important to us and we are committed to your continued increased production, profits and sustainability.
Sincerely,
